Spaceball SSN 5 starts soon + Changes

Hello Spaceballers!
As many of you know, the new season 5 will start soon and we are going to make it on a new interesting way which should bring us new players, more competitiveness in the league, new friendships on this forum, more games each week and quicker championships without so big time-spending on it, without annoying game scheduling, so we can enjoy our lovely game more in shorter time.
With the purpose to increase the competitiveness and to kill the waiting times, we were evaluating some of the settings of this league. In case of the annoying time-spending of captains and all admins (which cost us some nice guys too) in the league, we agreed to set fixed Gamedays with fixed Times. In season 5, all matches will be scheduled as follows: 2 matches on each Wednesday and 2 matches on each Sunday, both Gamedays have a match at 20:00 & 20:30 CET. This means that not a single match will be delayed and nobody needs to schedule them.
All what we are going to change is the team registration and players contracts, and fit the league in a new playing system, which is known as the draft system in some sport competitions. This will bring us more competitiveness to the league, almost zero chance on team quits and having an easier way to get new players to the teams. We know that some friends will stay in the teams together anyway but not all of them can and it will be more balanced. This all drafted (international) teams make it possible to have active players on each fixed Gameday+Time because the activity of players will be known before the draft starts, even if somebody won’t be available for all games he can still play – in the contrary, it was the same before, but now it opens the chance for all players in the teams to play without having delays.
CONTRACTS
If you want to be a General Manager = GM (“captain”) with less work to do than before, send a message to the administrators HERE. We already have some guys interested but need some more. You don’t need to have the captain’s experience from the past and don’t need to have your team - you will choose your players from all of this forum in the draft. But for sure, we would like to see the SSN4 captains to step up and go for this since many of them improved in these positions and showed nice attitude.
So from now, we skip the time-consuming Team Registration period and will only have the Contracts period - which is rephrased to SSN5 Draft Sign-Up period for all Free Agents (all players who want to play except GMs).

PLEASE, if you plan on playing in Season 5, sign up as soon as possible. You can always go back and change your activity. People who wait till the last possible moment will just prolong all the process and make it harder for us to determine number of teams and roster limits.
