Have respect and fair play with each other and the opponents
League System
Each player get 3 points for win and 1 for draw.
League standings sorting is based on (top to bottom):
Total number of points
Head-to-head team record
Goal difference
Goals scored
Note: during season the standings are not sorted using head-to-head, this takes too much time.
Head-to-head record will be reviewed at the end of the season when teams end with equal amount of points.
All players separated for 2 groups. Best 4 players pass in play-off. 1-st plays against 4-th and 2-nd plays against 3-rd.
In the play-off at 1/4 and 1/2 stage participants plays until 3 wins and at the final stage until 4 wins.
Match times:
Lag-test / half-time: 1 minute maximum to deal with any connection issues.
Regular: 2 halfs of 3 minutes (6 minutes in total).
In the play-off if there's a draw participants play 2 extra-halfs. One half is played for 2 minutes.
Match settings:
Matches are played on the Spacebounce map
Teams exchange red/blue sides after each half.
When the host is also playing and his opponents asks for it, the host needs to put a ping handicap ('/handicap') of 100 ping or (when higher than 100 ping) corresponding to the his opponent's ping.
End-time goals only count when the match returns to kick-off
Match schedule:
Each player will play eachother twice during the season
Players contact each other to schedule the game.
Match submission:
Both players must replay the game and the player who has won the match will upload the replay to haxrec.com and post the match submission in the topic "Match results".
Connection / Ping / Lag / Lag-goals
Each player is responsible for his own connection. But If it's possible always try to find better host for both players. The situation when, for example, both players has 200 ping is better than situation when the one has 50 ping and the other 300.
About lag issues:
When a player has a first ping higher than 250, the match is allowed to be paused to resolve the player's lag. Any other lag is not being seen as lag, and is therefore not allowed to pause for.
Lag-goals: when a goal is scored due to lag, the lagged player must immediately take screenshot(s) of his screen with the following things visible:
First ping
Ping graph
If no screenshot(s) is/are send to the administrators, the goal will remain counted. If the screenshot does not show both things, the goal will also remain counted. A goal can only be disallowed when lag is clearly visible on the screenshot. The decision about such moments will be after the match.
Breach of Rules / Misconduct / Sanctions
Forbidden continuing to play whilst play has clearly stopped due to a lagged player
Forbidden falsely claiming to lag or being afk in order to gain an unfair advantage
Forbidden kicking/banning a player or taking opponent rights away during games
Remain calm and neutral, do not start provoking before, during or after a match
All problems are discussed with the organizer after the match.
Forbidden using a fake name or taking a name of another player. Sanction: banned from the league and forum permanently
Forbidden using a macro or other hack. Sanction: banned from the league and forum permanently
Rules are taken from European Spaceball League with some changes.
