The Central European Time ( CET), used in most parts of the European Union, is a standard time which is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time ( UTC). UTC is synonymous with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). So, when it's 12 o'clock in CET timezone, it is 11 o'clock for players in GMT/UTC timezone. So, keep this in your mind when planning league matches for example! Below is a list of which countries using which timezone. For Eastern European countries not in the list & Egypt, Finland: CET+1, GMT+2 For Russia (Moscow region): CET+2, GMT+3 For USA (East) & Canada (East): CET-5/CET-6, GMT-4/GMT-5 For USA (West) & Canada (West): CET-7/CET-8, GMT-6/GMT-7 Countries using CET (= GMT+1) timezone:Albania Andorra Austria Belgium Bosnia & Herzegovina Croatia Czech Republic Denmark France Germany Gibraltar Vatican City Hungary Italy Liechtenstein Luxembourg Macedonia Malta Monaco The Netherlands Norway Poland San Marino Serbia-Montenegro Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden Switzerland Countries using GMT (= CET -1) timezone:Canary Islands Faroe Islands Iceland Ireland Morocco North Eastern Greenland Portugal United Kingdom Map for UTC/GMT timezone +/- the time differences:
