1) Download and install OBS from here: obsproject.com/download
(Use this to get an estimate of what you should put the settings in the program on: obsproject.com/estimator)
Haxball doesn't need high quality streams, just solid encoding settings is enough.
2) Load OBS, go to settings and then broadcast settings.
Put the stream key you received from the main streamer (in our case, me) in the "Play Path/Stream Key" field. Also put the dashboard link in here so you can access the stream dashboard quickly.
3) You should play around with encoding settings, I don't know what are the best settings for everyone (use the estimator from step 1).
Video settings doesn't matter much, so don't worry about that for now.
Only play with this, if the stream is lagging.
Audio settings should be fine as it is.
Advanced doesn't really apply to what we do, but you can play around with it if you want.
Close the settings.
4) Now to set-up Haxball as a screen region you want to go to sources, right click > add > add window capture, name it 'gele is the best' or something.
At the top you want to have the Haxball browser window selected, if it is not there yet, click on drop down and select it or go to haxball.com first
Use inner window not entire window!
Leave everything except sub-region which you should click on.
Click on select region and put it to the size of the haxball field.
Use Color Key and select the color to be the haxball background (similarity 5, blend 0).
Click ok.
5) Click Preview Stream and see what you have now, if it needs moving around just use Edit Scene to move it around or right click on the right source and use properties > screen region and position/size to center it etc.
6) Play around with other sources, add some text and Twitch chat in it for example.
